Little_Butter_Bean
My wife Kelly and 5 month old daughter Malia were able to come over to Bend to join me on the Royal Robbins shoot recently and Bo snapped this shot of me and the little butter bean on the way to lunch one day between sessions.

Central_Oregon
One of the lovely things that I have found about traveling in the car with a new baby is that we end up needing to stop for feeding, diaper changes, etc. in places that I never would under normal circumstances. These were grabbed along the highway on the way over to Bend from Portland on a clearing evening just after a storm.

Tahoe
I was in Tahoe this week for the fall shoot with Carve Designs and was treated to several perfect days of crisp, clear autumn weather. Thanks to Jen and Katie for making it all happen. Here's a sneak peak!

University_of_Puget_Sound

I went to public school from Kindergarten all the way through the completion of my Bachelor's degree. I wasn't a candidate for the Ivy League and to be honest, I didn't really even aspire to academic greatness when I was applying to college. However, this past week I got a good taste of what it would have been like to attend a small private school (there were 15k more students on my college campus than there were in my home town) and get lots of hands on experience, small student to instructor ratios, not to mention a gorgeous campus filled with historic architecture covered in what else but . . . ivy. No, we weren't even on the East Coast. Rather we were in Tacoma at the University of Puget Sound shooting for Neustadt Creative Marketing. It was a super fun time filled with fall color (and weather) and we made some great new images for the university. Thanks so much to Gayle at UPS for hosting us and BethAnne at Neustadt for making it all happen. Hopefully we can put up some of the finished work that contains actual students (yes, that is my assistant Andrew "sitting in" in the last frame) when they come out in a few months.

Women's_Running_Magazine

Personality in a model is a beautiful, beautiful thing! This was a cover shoot for Women's Running Magazine at Moonlight Beach in Encinitas, California and between takes she was cracking us all up with epic displays of great personality. If you are a model you definitely get ahead with your looks, but you will stay there with your personality. Thanks to Kristin for bringing the creative vision.
