My little buddy Casey was knocking down the strawberries almost as fast as we could pick them this last weekend while out at a small organic farm on Sauvie Island. Who could blame him (I think that there may still be some strawberry juice gumming up my shutter release!)
My wife is a counselor at one of the high schools here in Portland and I'd been wanting to check it out for a while, so took the opportunity this week when she was finishing up her year end work and the students had already gotten out for their summer vacation. I'm into mid-century modern architecture and this building is a good example of it. Something kind of haunting about seeing places like this that are so often bustling with human activity in a completely stoic and calm light.
